Scientific Advisory Boards
Advisory Board for the Iceman
The scientific Advisory Board for the Iceman comprises experts from the fields of anthropology and medicine and has the primary task of advising the museum in the evaluation of research project applications concerning the mummy.
The Advisory Board for the Iceman periodically reviews project applications relating to research on the mummy.
Members, including the chair and deputy of the Advisory Board, are selected and appointed by the South Tyrol Regional Government based on the museum’s recommendation.
Advisory Board for Archaeology
The scientific Advisory Board for Archaeology reviews the museum’s programs and project applications relating to archaeological research. This advisory board also reviews projects pertaining to the Iceman’s clothing and equipment.
